{"id":155052,"date":"2015-08-27T08:18:28","date_gmt":"2015-08-27T08:18:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/climalife.com\/freezer-counter-trial\/"},"modified":"2023-07-24T11:20:45","modified_gmt":"2023-07-24T11:20:45","slug":"freezer-counter-trial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/climalife.com\/ro\/freezer-counter-trial\/","title":{"rendered":"Freezer counter trial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The objective was to evaluate the temperature performance and energy consumption of a standard Precision LCU323 three door freezer counter cabinet.<br \/>\nTemperature performance and energy consumption was tested to EN153 over a 24 hour period with the cabinet empty of product and the door closed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The tests focused on four areas;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(1) <strong>Pulldown time<\/strong>: the quicker the time, the greater the energy saved (lower running costs);<\/p>\n<p>(2) <strong>Recovery time after defrost<\/strong>: similar benefits to pulldown time;<\/p>\n<p>(3) <strong>Maximum Discharge temperature<\/strong>: impacts on life of compressor and whole-life performance of equipment \u2013 the most critical test from Precision\u2019s perspective;<\/p>\n<p>(4) <strong>Energy consumption<\/strong>: measured in kWh over 24 hours. The results of this test demonstrated that the Honeywell product Solstice\u00ae N40 was found to exceed the refrigeration performance of R-404A, whilst at the same time, exhibiting lower recovery time and improved pull-down time.
