{"id":158298,"date":"2009-07-29T13:53:56","date_gmt":"2009-07-29T13:53:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/climalife.com\/17th-voiles-du-froid-from-dead-calm-to-force-6\/"},"modified":"2022-10-05T09:23:10","modified_gmt":"2022-10-05T09:23:10","slug":"17th-voiles-du-froid-from-dead-calm-to-force-6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/climalife.com\/ro\/17th-voiles-du-froid-from-dead-calm-to-force-6\/","title":{"rendered":"17th Voiles du Froid: from dead calm to force 6"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/uploadsassetsActualit__sVoile1.jpg\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"10\" width=\"242\" height=\"183\" align=\"left\" \/><strong>On 5, 6 and 7 June, ten monohull boats left the Vend&eacute;e Globale pontoon to sail the waters of the Atlantic Ocean en route to the picturesque island of Ile d&#8217;Yeu. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Organised by Climalife and with the participation of our loyal sponsors Assurfroid, Honeywell, HRS, SNEFCCA and the magazines Clim&#8217; Pratique and RPF, our sailors spent three days discovering the pleasures of cruising to the rhythm of the wind. <br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This 2009 event is one to remember for professionals in the cooling and air conditioning world: the first navigation over 30,000 miles.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/uploadsassetsActualit__sVoile_2.jpg\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"10\" width=\"244\" height=\"137\" align=\"left\" \/>The first <strong>Honeywell<\/strong> regatta departed from Sables d&#8217;Olonne in good weather conditions giving the crews the chance to get to grips with their boats and give everything they had to get into the rankings.<\/p>\n<p>The subsequent regattas <strong>(HRS and Climalife)<\/strong> were more of a challenge and required more focus, particularly on Sunday morning when the competitors came up against force 6 winds and troughs two or three metres high.   <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/uploadsassetsActualit__svoile_4.jpg\" border=\"0\" hspace=\"10\" width=\"244\" height=\"182\" align=\"left\" \/>A welcome sunny spell late on Saturday afternoon gave everyone the opportunity to escape the &quot;<strong>Au Vert &agrave; Terre regatta&quot; (Assurfroid)<\/strong> with a bike ride along the coastline of Ile d&#8217;Yeu, particularly the legendary Port de la Meule, a 20 km ride combining cultural issues and the search for markers.
