Participants will be competing in skills related to the 62 trades represented this year in a wide range of fields: construction and building technology, manufacturing technology and engineering, information and communication technology, transport and logistics, and so on.
For many years, Climalife has been involved in the promotion of refrigeration trades and supports the training of young people by providing low GWP refrigerants and recovery packaging for WorldSkills national competitions in the technical refrigeration industry. This is why, Climalife is continuing its commitment by becoming a supplier sponsor of WorldSkills Lyon 2024.
During the assessment, future refrigeration technicians will be judged on installation, maintenance and repair operations on refrigeration equipment: charging and recovery of refrigerants, commissioning and adjustment of equipment, electrical wiring, etc., in compliance with safety rules.
