F-Gas III: the BIG CUT is almost here
Tick – Tock – Tick – Tock … The countdown had begun.
In Europe, users of fluorinated greenhouse gases have already experienced numerous quota reductions over the last decade, and the upcoming milestone on 1 January 2027 will be a significant one for those who have not yet anticipated it.
The goal is to use refrigerants with a GWP of less than 150. This is already in place in some applications and will be confirmed in the very near future for others.
To meet these challenges, there is no time to lose in informing operators, assessing existing refrigeration installations, and planning investments and interventions to navigate this transition more smoothly. Long-term solutions are now available, adapted and approved by manufacturers, to remedy this situation while optimising the energy efficiency of systems at a lower cost.
