An exceptional event, a unique destination and a sensational program.
An accumulation of first times, for everyone to enjoy!
Thursday, May 30th
This year, the crews got to know each other as early as Thursday evening in Port Grimaud, during the local specialities evening at Les Prairies de la Mer, the event’s stronghold for the 3 days.
For the first time since the creation of Voiles du Froid, we stayed at this campsite set in exotic gardens.
A first evening rich in flavors and colors…
Friday, May 31st
A strong mistral wind upsets the program, and we’re not allowed to board the yachts: our sailors will first have to discover St Tropez from the land side, during a walk punctuated by fun tests under the familiar eye of a gendarme and a nun well (re)known to all.
This land-based regatta was won by the Friax team, closely followed by Germany and Rolesco!
In the absence of sailboats, participants took the tender boat to the idyllic beach of the vieux moulin for lunch. Some couldn’t resist the call of the deep blue sea under the blazing sun!
The competition continues, but still on dry land, with a pétanque tournament at the end of the day (another first!).
Saturday June 1st
Time for a challenge on the water: the program includes 4 regattas behind the scenes in St Tropez.
Teams Germany and Dalkia Froid Solutions stand out from the fleet in the first Matelex-sponsored regatta.
As the Honeywell, Mobil and Snefcca regattas progressed, the Germany team would never relinquish first place, and the Dalkia Froid Solutions, the Experts, Danube, Freedom and Climalife crews would share the lead.
This magnificent day continued at the Clos des Oliviers estate.
The stars of the day were welcomed by an exhibition retracing the 30 editions of Voiles du Froid.
Many emotions and anecdotes were expressed by our loyal partners and participants.
It was also an opportunity to celebrate 150 years of the Dehon Group.
Sunday, June 2nd
In the morning, the Climalife regatta was a family affair. Each participant wore a bright T-shirt in the image of this beautiful thirtieth edition.
Team Germany, the overall winner in 2024, takes the Voiles du Froid Trophy across the Rhine for the first time.
Climalife would like to thank all the crews for their good humour and conviviality, with a special mention to all our partners for their support and loyalty:
Covation Bio, Daikin, Eurovent Certita Certification, Génie Climatique magazine,
Honeywell, ITE, Matelex, Mobil, La Rpf, SAMON and Snefcca.
Congratulations to the winners!
