1/ Know the regulations in force and respect them (F-Gas II and Waste).
2/ Use an appropriate recovery cylinder : make sure the test pressure of the cylinder is suitable for the fluid to be recovered and when recovering flammable gases, the correct cylinder is used.
3/ Check the allowed maximum fill. Do not exceed the weight stencilled on the cylinder.
4/ Define the maximum quantity that can be introduced into the bottle, and carry out the recovery using scales to be able to control the amount recovered into the bottle.
5/ Fill in the documents identifying the fluid and the quantity recovered in accordance with local regulations.
Caution: Do not heat the bottles (especially with a blowtorch), check the ventilation of the vehicle, do not smoke and do not use the telephone (especially with bottles containing flammable fluid).
*Fill factor of used fluid = 80% of the fill factor of new fluid defined by ADR.
