Improve the energy efficiency of heat transfer systems with CRANE Temper®

In a context of increased sustainability and regulatory requirements, choosing refrigeration systems with secondary circuits is one option for replacing the use of high-GWP refrigerants.

The use of heat transfer fluids makes it possible to significantly reduce the refrigerant load (by up to 85% depending on the installation) as well as the risks associated with their use, in particular by confining the primary circuit to an engine room, thereby limiting operating costs and the risk of leaks that could cause potential emissions.

These architectures allow for greater installation flexibility: extensions or modifications are easier to carry out, without major interventions on the main circuit. Maintenance and performance monitoring are simplified because the temperature, pressure and nature of the heat transfer fluid can be adjusted to meet the actual needs of the processes.

Although the use of a heat transfer fluid requires larger equipment and additional energy consumption with a pumping network necessary for the circulation of the heat transfer fluid, there are various solutions available on the market.
