NOVEXPANS™ isobutane/DME (10/90) is a gas with guaranteed specifications used as a blowing agent for the expansion of polyurethane foams and extruded polystyrene. It has no effect on the ozone layer and has a negligible impact on the greenhouse effect.

Consequently, it is not covered by the Kyoto Protocol or F-Gas Regulation III (No. 2024/573).
