F-Gas III: Il the BIG CUT is almost here
Tick-tock, tick-tock… The countdown has begun.
In Europe, users of fluorinated greenhouse gases have already faced numerous quota reductions over the past decade, and the upcoming deadline of 1 January 2027 will mark a significant turning point for those who have not yet prepared for it.
The aim is to use refrigerants with a GWP of less than 150. This requirement is already in force for certain applications and will be extended to others in the near future
To tackle these challenges, there is no time to waste in informing operators, assessing existing refrigeration systems and planning investments and interventions that will enable this transition to be managed more smoothly. Long-term solutions are now available, tailored and approved by manufacturers, to address this situation whilst optimising the energy efficiency of systems at a lower cost.
