From 29 to 31 May 2026, more than 150 professionals from the refrigeration and air-conditioning sectors gathered in La Rochelle and Saint-Martin-de-Ré to take part in the 32nd edition of Les Voiles du Froid. Over three days, crews, partners and organisers shared an adventure combining competition, team spirit and moments of camaraderie in the exceptional setting of the Île de Ré.

Friday 29 May – A sunny start from Port des Minimes
The new edition got underway at the Port des Minimes in La Rochelle. The crews quickly found their feet during the first two races of the weekend: Matelex and then Mobil.
With a light thermal breeze, the early standings began to take shape as the yachts set course for Saint-Martin-de-Ré.

After their first day at sea, the participants gathered for the unmissable evening of local specialities, a much-anticipated event that gave everyone the chance to share the flavours of their region in a warm and festive atmosphere.
Saturday 30 May – Exploring Île de Ré and back to competition

The morning began with a Ré’Cycle land regatta, giving participants the chance to discover the treasures of Île de Ré. On their bikes, the teams explored the island’s iconic landscapes, stopping off along the way to tackle challenges and sample local specialities.
Well done to the CIC Réfrigération team, who won the on-shore regatta, followed by the Netherland team and then C2AP-CF2C.

In the afternoon, it was back out on the water in a steady breeze for two more fiercely contested races: Climatique Assur and Solstice. The crews once again demonstrated their skill during the tacks and their determination in these ideal conditions.
The day concluded with the traditional Climalife reception, providing a special opportunity for participants, partners and organisers to mingle.
Sunday 31 May – A final, decisive race
To round off this 32nd edition, the crews competed in the Snefcca regatta, the final race of the weekend.
Following five offshore races and one inshore race, the overall standings recognised the most consistent crews in the competition.
