The RMV-HFC room controller from SAMON is a refrigerant leak detector used in large-volume refrigeration and air conditioning systems such as VRF/VRVs.
It is designed to provide continuous, highly effective surveillance in a variety of typical applications such as hotels, offices and residential buildings. It is designed to be mounted in a wall-mounted box for maximum discretion.
It has 3 alarm levels :
- Level 1: if concentration between 1000 and 4000 ppm over a period of less than 30 minutes: no audible alert and pulsation of the red LED.
- Level 2: if concentration between 1000 and 4000 ppm over a period of more than 30 minutes: 2 audible alerts/minute and pulsation of the red LED
- Level 3: if the concentration exceeds 4000 ppm over a period of at least 30 seconds: 4 audible alarms/minute and red LED flashing.
The audible and visual alarms communicate simultaneously with room monitoring systems via a Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) alarm relay and a common relay output.
