HFOs, (HydroFluoro-Olefins) are 4th generation refrigerants. They are an alternative with low GWP values that reduce environmental impact while offering energy efficiency
Non-toxic fluids whose placing on the market, use, recovery and destruction are restricted by EU regulation 517/2014 (F-Gas). These products do not affect the ozone layer and are recommended to replace CFCs and HCFCs.
High quality HFC fluids that have been recovered and regenerated at our industrial sites. Our sites have the authority and certification to perform this activity.
In Europe, the sale and use of HCFCs (hydrochlorofluorocarbons) are governed by the European regulation 1005/2009 of 16 September 2009 about substances that deplete the ozone layer. From 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2014, only the use ofnon-virgin HCFCs(recycled or reclaimed) is authorised. Outside Europe, the sale and use of HCFCs may be authorised according to the regulations in the country.
Ammonia (NH3) is classified as a toxic and flammable refrigerant (L2 type). The use in installations and transport of this product is subject to a certain number of safety requirements and regulations.
Ammonia can be used in absorption and compression systems, mainly in industrial installations fitted with screw and piston compressors.
R-744 (carbon dioxide) is a refrigerant designed for industrial and commercial refrigeration applications. It has GWP value of 1 and very low enviromental impact.
